The Cider Barn

Due to state regulations, we do not allow outside food or beverages to be brought onto our property other than the food and beverages produced by the food trucks we invite to the farm.

Also, due to state laws and regulations, pets are not allowed in the Cider Barn at Carlson Orchards or on the patio. Service dogs are allowed. Thank you, for your understanding and support.

A current ID must be presented by ALL guests for service of alcohol. No photo copies of IDs accepted.

Oak Hill Blend

Northern Spy

Our latest small batch cider is Northern Spy, a prized upstate NY varietal from the 1880s. Superior for both pies and cider these heirloom apples give a balanced and rich juice. This hard cider is dry with crisp acidity and a long finish.

Jamaican Sunshine

Looking for something to bring you back to warmer days? We’ve added ginger juice and demerara sugar to our fermented hard apple cider for a winter warm-up that we hope you will enjoy!

Peach Festival

Peach Festival is our juicy and flavorful hard apple cider blended with peach juice and a bit of honey to celebrate the annual Peach Festival at Carlson Orchards. This Limited Release is slightly hazy with a delicate stonefruit nose, smooth taste and a delightfully peachy pop on the finish.

Harvard Harvest

Our famous fall favorite is back!!! A tasty seasonal hard cider bursting with fresh apples and baked apple pie. Just enough spice, just enough sweet.

Kingston Black

This cider is made with Kingston Black apples, a rare variety that has been long celebrated for its ideal balance of sugar, acidity, and tannins

P.S. 2

PS 2 is a more refreshing style than last year’s PS 1, still made with Petite Sirah wine grapes. This very limited small batch cider is beautifully clear and light pink with a fruity aroma. Super tasty apple flavor balanced with tannin from the grapes makes this fruit hard cider very delicious!

Elderberry

Deep, dark and dry. We co-ferment our freshly pressed apple cider with elderberries for maximum extract of color and flavor.

Simply Dry

This dry cider isn’t your typical “farm cider”…we used Belgian yeast to make this year-round refreshingly dry cider with a surprising clean and soft finish.

Legacy

This cider is made from some rare American and European hard cider apple varieties planted by Carlson Orchards a few years ago. This cider is rich and robust in both color and flavor.
